Feelings wheel
Put a name to what you’re feeling. Start broad and narrow in. Naming it is often the first step to managing it.
Open the feelings wheelI’m Stephen Sills, a Registered Psychologist in Calgary. I work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem and motivation — in person in the city, or online anywhere in Alberta.
Every plan is built around the person in the room. These are the concerns people most often come in with.
Worry that won’t switch off, panic, and the avoidance that slowly shrinks your life.
Flat, heavy or stuck days that keep stacking up.
Attention, organization and follow-through, for kids and adults.
Quieting the inner critic and building a steadier sense of who you are.
Getting unstuck, and performing under pressure in school, sport or work.
Understand and change the negative patterns you fall into so that you can learn to be more flexible, become more responsive to each other’s needs, and reconnect
Psychological and educational assessments that end in a clear, usable plan.
Working out what’s next and how to get there.
I work with children, teens and adults. With younger clients, parents are part of the work.
Book a free 20-minute consultation online to see whether we’re a good fit, or send an email. Say a little about what’s going on, or nothing at all yet.
The first session is about understanding what’s happening and whether working together feels right.
I draw on evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and exposure work, where you gradually face what you’ve been avoiding. The plan is adapted to you and revisited as things change.
Registered Psychologist seeing children, teens, adults and couples, in person in Calgary and online anywhere in Alberta.
I work with children, adolescents and adults, with a focus on anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, motivation and mental toughness.
My approach is flexible and adapts to each person, drawing carefully from evidence-based interventions rather than a single method. The goal is practical: to help you understand what’s going on and have something you can do about it.
